The first step is to call us or email us. Samuel Solodar will answer your call during business hours or, if he is unable to, will strive to return your call or respond to your email within one business day.
During our initial conversation we will discuss your legal issues to see if our firm can assist in your divorce and family law needs. This conversation is free of charge. A general overview of your legal situation will be provided; however, no legal advice can be provided.
We will meet for a consultation if you decide from our initial discussion that you would like to learn more about our firm and further explore your legal issues. The consultation is an educational session tailored to your specific legal issues. The initial consultation can be conducted in person or video conference, such as Zoom. You are charged Samuel Solodar’s hourly rate.
Our firm officially begins to represent you and the attorney-client relationship is formed when we sign an engagement agreement and the financial terms of the agreement are met. This can occur during our initial consultation if you are prepared to proceed, or another day if you need more time.
Our firm will be busy filing the appropriate paperwork, contacting the appropriate people and providing you guidance through your case. You will receive regular update from our firm about the status of your case. You can always reach us by email or by phone should you have questions or concerns.
